Tokyo Teriyaki in Astoria

8.75 for teriyaki chicken plate lunch special. I didn't want the rice or noodles so they substituted extra veggies for no extra charge which was nice. Fast, friendly, helpful service. Very fresh. If I had more time & money I would definitely give their sushi a try. Clean establishment and restrooms. Would recommend.

Really great place! Came here and ordered a dragon roll to split with a friend. The food was really great and so was the service. Lots of places to sit and very easy to place an order. Would recommend if anybody wanted to get a quick snack.

The food was pretty good. The tempura batter was a little thick. All the food came out a once, so it would have been bice to have the tempura and then our sushi. We liked all of the sushi we ordered.

It's good. Quick service. Good portions. Decent prices. Place not big enough for large events or big crowds but definitely worth a try.

Best sushi place I've found outside of Japan. I eat a lot of sushi. This is one of my favorites. There are better places but you will probably have to go to Japan to find them.

Best food ever!

Was more than impressed with the spicy chicken and shrimp plate, the spicy tuna roll was top tier! They also have quite a good set of vegan opinions.

The atmosphere is nice and the flavor is good. My steak was very fatty and chewy though so I couldn't eat most of it. The price is a little high for what you get.

Great food pretty consistently. Every once in a while it seems like they have a new cook and the sushi rolls won't be tight enough. That's not common, though, they overall have a great menu with lots of choices and tasty food.

We enjoy this little gem for delicious Asian cuisine. The owners and waitstaff are really nice. Their appetizers and soup are really devoured heartily by our children too. We always feel at home. Friendly greetings & welcomed with a smile. And plenty of color balloons for fun & breath treats for the road.

First of all, I want to go ahead and say this place is great. But also, I want to talk about their napkins. Now let’s face it, any food that is delicious usually requires a napkin. Let me take your through an interaction with their napkins. You get your (amazing and saucy) teriyaki, you reach for a napkin (because it’s delicious!). You say in your head “oh, I grabbed two on accident “So you flick the napkin.......Boom!It was the same napkin that just turned into the size of a medium hand towel that’s still unfolded. And you’re like, wow this is awesome. It’s like those fancy cloth ones at expensive restaurants that still might not have as good of food as Tokyo Teriyaki. You might ask, do find myself judging napkins often?Yes. Does it matter? Well I think it’s a good factor. I’ve been going to this restaurant since 2015. Never a bad experience. BEST sushi. I just finished a crunchy tsunami roll. The. Bomb. 10/10 recommended. -J

Tbh dont ome here for normal food, the sushi is good here but me and my friend ate here, yakisoba, teryaki bowl.and some potstickers. It made us sick so bad we were near the bathroom all night. We never even bothered to fully eat the ramen, we took one look and a small bite and threw it away. A 8 yr old could make better ramen from the package

Delicious and inexpensive sushi. The roll portions are generous and are $5 to $9 a roll. It can take awhile to get your food, so give yourself an extra 10 to 15 minutes for your visit.

Amazing every time! Always quiet. Fast service. A great lunch before beers across the street. I've been driving to Astoria several times a year for the last 4 years and this is always a stop.

Always an inexpensive and filling meal here. Even on a bad day they're better than the local tourist traps! Only reason I give them 4 and not 5 stars is they close too early for me!!!

We love their Happy Hour specials, amazing! 4-6 every day. The lunch and dinner menus are great too. Fresh food, clean shop and bathrooms. 👍👍

Great menu selections at good prices. This restaurant is cozy, clean and tidy, and serves up a great meal! By far the best sushi I've had in Astoria.

Great for a quick lunch. Fast service, sushi is good enough, taste fresh. Spicy chicken is on point, and same with the fried rice. Had a homeless women approach us in the restaurant for money, very sad that even at a restaurant your not safe. This is odd considering the city has resources available for them.

Love this place very clean. Great food. Friendly staff. Definitely the best Japanese food in our area.
